About KATERINA LAMOLA, LICSW, ACHT, PAPT
I came to this work through a deep interest in how the mind, body, and emotional patterns interact—and how lasting change actually happens.
My background includes training in hypnotherapy along with complementary approaches that support nervous system regulation, cognitive reframing, and mind–body integration.
Over the years, I’ve seen that real change does not come from pushing harder or judging ourselves more harshly.
It comes from understanding the root of our patterns and working with them in a supportive, skillful way.
That is the space I aim to create for every client—one where curiosity, compassion, and practical tools allow deeper insight and sustainable change to emerge.
My Approach.
Thoughtful, Collaborative, and Grounded
My approach integrates clinical understanding with practical tools that help people better understand themselves and their relationships.
Each person’s experiences and goals are different, so the work is always tailored to the individual rather than following a rigid formula.
Gentle and Client-Led
Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive. There is no pressure to force change before you are ready.
Collaborative
Each session is shaped around your goals, your experiences, and what feels most important for you to explore and share in the moment.
Rooted in Understanding
Rather than focusing only on behaviors, we look at the underlying emotional patterns and relationship dynamics that influence your life.
What It’s Like to Work Together
This work is conversational, reflective, and practical.
Sessions typically involve exploring current challenges, identifying recurring patterns, and developing tools that help you respond to situations differently.
Many clients find that as they gain clarity about their patterns, they also develop a stronger sense of personal agency and emotional steadiness.
The goal is not perfection, but greater awareness, choice, and alignment with what matters most to you.
Katerina works with individuals navigating a range of challenges and life transitions, including:
• relationship dynamics and codependency
• anxiety and emotional overwhelm
• trauma and nervous system regulation
• chronic illness or pain

Her work supports clients in developing greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Common questions about working together
Are sessions virtual or in person?
All individual sessions are currently held virtually. Meeting online allows clients to participate from wherever they are located while maintaining a consistent and comfortable environment for the work.
Curated in-person retreats and special gatherings will be offered in the future. Please join the email list for updates.
What can I expect during a session?
Sessions are conversational, reflective, and practical. Together we explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that are shaping your life.
Over time, this work often involves developing greater awareness of emotional patterns, understanding how they formed, and learning tools that support more grounded choices and healthier relationships.
The pace is collaborative and guided by what feels most important for you to explore.
What is the investment, and do you accept insurance?
Katerina is not currently accepting new insurance-based clients.
Sessions are offered on a private-pay basis, which allows greater flexibility and privacy in the therapeutic process.
A limited number of scholarship spaces are available each year to support clients facing financial barriers to inquire about current availability. — email —hello@katerinalamola.com
